Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech is looking for the Blues to put a great run together, and put some serious pressure on Manchester United in the process.
Chelsea take on Blackburn tonight in the Premiership, and goalkeeper Petr Cech is looking to start applying pressure on Manchester United.
“I think we just need to put togther a run of a few victories, and United will be under pressure,” he told Sky Sports News.
“That is what we want to do now, and we have our first opportunity against Blackburn.
“Of course, it will be a difficult game, but we are at home, and we want to keep going.”
He was also positive about what looks like Chelsea gradual return to form: “We have seen already the Chelsea that we want to see. I think the most important thing is to just keep winning.”
Only yesterday, Frank Lampard also suggested that it was high time Chelsea started trimming the distance between them and the Premiership leaders.
The Blues continue to trail Manchester United by six points, but can draw some hope from the fact that they haven’t lost ground in the new year. United play rock-bottom Watford.
