Drogba Barcelona Bound?

Barcelona look set to splash the cash on Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.

Drogba, who is currently at the African Cup of Nations with the Ivory Coast, has made no secret of his desire to leave Stamford Bridge.

Spanish paper AS has reported that the funds are available to bring the highly-sought-after striker to the Nou Camp.

It is thought that Barca sports chief Txiki Begiristain will now start to negotiate with Chelsea immediately in order to get their man.

Barca will have to fight off competition from Bayern Munchen, Real Madrid and AC Milan to land the Blues star.

i love barca and i say this the day he comes to our club i am gone iwill go to juve.
this is the guy that some years back spit at the barca fans. during a game when he scored.
    how much we forget things.

This is stupid, they already have problem with starting Henry, Ronaldinho, Eto, and Messi how will they get Drogba. everytime they don’t produce there will always be that question of who were suppose to be on the field.

Thomas is absoluteley right(above comment). At the moment Barca has a Fab 4 who can’t even start together due to line-up issues. Putting Drogba into the mix would just complicate things even more. Drogba leaving Chelsea is fine but he should go to a team that needs him and will use him.

i just wanna said that, drogba is a good player, but wat hapen is barcelonne has too many offensive player ho can’t even play at same time,so i don ‘t no why they gonna get drogba they not going to use him thats stupid.

barca even has dos santos, a great young player. they dont need to be wasting their time going after drogba. hopefully he goes to milan where he can give kaka some real offensive support.

I love Barca too, though I am not an agile fan of Chelsea (but I am still a fan), keep them their; who knows, maybe Chelsea might take the lead in the Premiership league since Arsenal took a humiliating blow against Spurs.

Yes Barca does have too many great offensive players already, but maybe someone like Drogba will be more effective for them, as he has really a different playing style than any of the existing strikers. They should send Henry away, drop Dinho and messi into the midfield, and put Drogba and Eto up top
