This is the jersey Japan will wear as they compete in Brazil this summer.
Worthy of the Blue Samurai, Japan’s new official home jersey for 2014 has a cool rising sun graphic around the official Japan federation team badge. This subtle rising sun is made up of a eleven lines that radiate out from the team badge, representing the idea that the 11 players on field all come from that one starting point – a unified love for Japan.
On the back is a bright slash, a symbol of unity for the squad. This “peach” pop of color is designed to created the appearance of one unified circle when Japan’s team hunches together in a huddle.
This kit will first be seen on field on November 16 in a friendly against the Netherlands. Find all of Japan’s official national team gear here.
