When Pele is called "arguably" the greatest soccer player of all time, it's because of Diego Maradona. The two legends shared the title of FIFA Player of the 20th Century after Maradona won the Internet vote and Pele received more support for FIFA officials, soccer journalists and coaches. To watch Maradona play was to witness poetry on a soccer field. Combining strength, bravery, confidence and exuding ability to dominate in tight spaces with the ball glued to his foot and pick out teammates, Maradona played in four FIFA World Cups, most notably the 1986 tournament in Mexico where he captained and inspired his country to glory.
In the quarterfinals of that tournament, Maradona collected the ball in his own half, turned majestically and made 11 touches, booming past five desperate, helpless England defenders and rounding the goalkeeper to score "The Goal of the Century," as awarded by FIFA. A statue of Maradona scoring the goal sits outside the Azteca Stadium. At club level, he delivered Napoli its first and only two Serie A titles and trophies in the Coppa Italia, UEFA Cup and Italian Supercup, the club's most successful run in history. His jersey was retired. It doesn't get any better than seeing Argentina and Napoli's No. 10 on a soccer field.
Cheer on the blues of Napoli with this third jersey from Macron.
The Napoli team badge is sewn on the left chest and the Macron logo is embroidered on the right. Screened sponsor logos. Side ventilation panels for extra comfort.
