Awesome Value - Mar 11, 2014
Player: Nathan (Montgomery, AL)

I bought these at a great sale price, but would not have been upset if I had paid closer to the MSRP. The only thing preventing a 5-star rating for me is the weight of the boot. As this is the takedown model, the synthetic is slightly thicker and less soft than the top tier Predator. That said, this is an absolutely fantastic boot! I saw online suggestions to order up a half size and did so. My left foot is just slightly longer than my right, so going up a half size worked out well. As another reviewer mentioned, the synthetic stretches very little - the lethal zone elements don't allow much and the synthetic upper only stretches some anyway. The touch on the upper is nice and soft, and the stud configuration works well for me. At these sale prices, I'm considering buying another pair!

great boot but not perfect - Mar 07, 2014
Player: Ryan M. (SF CA USA)

I want to start by saying I really like the boot overall. I mostly play on turf and the studs dont get caught as easily as other brands... the nike studs on various shoes were dangerous on turf. That said, I do have one major problem with this shoe. I am used to kangaroo leather boots. I always order a 1/2 size small so the boots could stretch and mold to my foot. THESE BOOTS DO NOT STRETCH! now i am stuck with a pair that is too small to be comfortable, even after the initial break in phase. Also, I have wider than average feet and even if you order true to your size I am guessing that these are far too narrow in the toe. best thing about this boot was the sale price

An average shoe - Feb 28, 2014
Player: Anonymous (Katy, TX USA)

I had bought this shoe as a long term shoe but barely made it through the first year. I bought these in the summer and had a great start. The shoe on its own is great for being a one off shoe to the TRX version. About the same lethal zones Which don't really make that much of a difference. It was all good and in the middle of training, the bottom of the shoe started peeling off and progressively got worse to where the shoe had to be retired. The shoe on its own is great, but it's life time is short, so make it count.

Solid Synthetic boot - Nov 04, 2013
Player: AJ (NYC)

This is great all around boot. I purchased these for play on artificial grass and they work quite well. The only dips from the full LZ model are the "zones" are slightly less tacky, but they are real the lower 2 models are painted on and they are marginally heavier. The traxion 2.0 is superior to both a turf shoe and bladed studs adidas TRX on artificial grass, especially outdoors. Striking, curling and passing feel solid. I have narrower feet, but some people with wider feet mentioned increased stud pressure on the outstep. I have used these on grass and I actually prefer the 2012 Predator Absolion TRX bladed studs on a proper pitch. It is the takedown of the AdiPower and save for the Adipower Predator's themselves, it is the finest adidas boot in years. However, this is possibly the best current gen boot under $150, especially on artificial grass.

My daughter LOVES these shoes! - Sep 25, 2013
Parent: Angie (Henderson, KY)

I bought these in July for my 12 year old daughter. She plays right wing and midfield on a U13 select team and on a JV high school team. She loves these cleats! She wore them & never even had to break them in before wearing them in a game! She loves the rubber design around the front/top part of the cleat because it grips the ball. Her only complaint wearing them has been with pain in her arches & that is with all cleats due to no arch support in any cleats. Custom orthotics fixed that problem. She had several injuries last season and now wear an ASO brace on the L foot for all games. She is able to get it to fit in these cleats & has plenty of shoe lace left to tie it. My complaint is I wish I would have waited 2 months because they are now about $45 cheaper! Overall a nice cleat and she loves the color! I can easily spot her on the field by her BRIGHT green shoes.

These cleats are very comfortable and have good traction. I recommend these cleats to anyone who looks for good cleats! I am a midfielder and these cleats work perfect for me!
