Predator LZ review - Sep 18, 2013
Player: Daniel (Baltimore, Maryland)

I've had this boot for about a month now, and so far it's performance has been good. I got these for a steal at $105 back in early August and have been using them as my main boot since. First, the upper is alot more flexible than the first LZ. The rubber on top has alot more give and allows the boot to stretch. Not a ton, or enough to go a full size down, but stretches to fit comfortably. Which leads me to my next point, sizing. These fit tight out of the box. Especially at the end of the shoe where it meets your big toe. I wear 8.5 in basically every adidas boot, and these were the first that were a bit too tight. Eventually the upper did stretch and now they fit perfectly. It took about 2-3 hours of wear to fully break them in. Shots and passing feel solid it feels like you can strike the ball harder wearing these. The reason why I've given these 4 out of 5 stars is because of stud pressure. Towards the end of practices and games, I can start to feel the studs of the boot, especially towards the front. I've changed the insole and it seems to have helped the problem. Aside from that, I would recommend these boots. Maybe the stud pressure was something only I experienced, so don't let that put you off. As I said sizing is a bit different. I would recommend true to size because the upper does stretch and give in to shape to your toes. However if you're someone who likes some room, go with a half size up. Either way the boot will be snug and fit good. Hope this review helps someone out
