Nice Added protection - Sep 09, 2009

I bought these for my 12 yo daughter who is a keeper. She is always wearing "silders" under her shorts. This gives her the best of both worlds and added confidence to make the diving save. It has also allowed her to wear regular field shorts in the goal, while still having the extra hip padding.. A good product for the price!

pretty good tights. can't feel anything when u hit the ground!! only bad thing: pretty tough to wash. the padding gets out of place! but still very good tights!

A short that is padded. Good. Just could be little longer inseam. The padding would not have to go the full length, but the shorts could be longer.

These are a good set of padded skids. One issue had come up. The upper hip pads are not sown in. When you wash them, the pad fold over on themselves and are impossible to get unfolded as they are enclosed in fabric. I was not able to get them unfolded without cutting the interior fabric. Now I just take those pads out when I wash the skids. Really, the shorts are comfortable and work great, but washing them is not as easy as the tag says.

padding gets messed up in the dryer - Nov 14, 2007

they are good enough for the price. they will scrunch up if you slide in them. this is a problem, but the biggest problem is that the padding folds up and gets bent over itself in the dryer. it took half an hour to work the padding back into place.
