Diadora Jacket - Aug 30, 2010
Coach: Justin (Central Illinois)

The material is not at all a rain jacket-style feel. It is instead smooth, new-age. My soccer team purchased these red with black lines last fall. Wanting a non-district item, I bought the black version for myself to keep. The embroideries are indeed quite nice. I had looked at the Puma jackets for the same reason, but our school uses Diadora more. The sleeve cuffs almost feel like a longsleeve shirt, as they fold right up. At 5'6, the sleeves on an XL are just a bit too long. Not bad, though. Compared to my XL clothing, this jacket, a Euro fit, was a bit snug, almost like a large. The sleeves, though, matched up. The collar is a flip up one that can be folded down for casual wear. Pockets are zipping and have a nice Diadora zip tip, logo and everything. All things about this jacket say high-end. It just depends whether or not the owner wants elastic waist/cuffs. I have not experienced the moisture-wicking properties, as I have only worn the jacket in mild conditions. It is not by any means a windbreaker, thickness-wise, but I am not sure how warm it will really be. In other words, I'll still use my heavier coat in Illinois late-fall's. Again, some jackets are discounted for certain reasons desire, etc.. This one is full-price for a reason. Diadora will still sell a lot of these, even when people have to pay more. If a coach is buying the full set, as we did, the bottoms are pretty tapered in that they fit more like tights than sweats bottoms. But, again, there is no elastic element. They're almost like hunting unders. I am short and stocky, so the XL pants are just a bit snug. Surprisingly not too long, though. Like I said, the quality is good. It's just a matter of snug fit-little long sleeves snug knees and calves slight bit too short for true XL pants. Owner and coach: 5'6". 235lbs. 38' waist. I'd buy one size larger, unless, like cleats, the owner likes a snug fit.

Awesome... - Nov 26, 2009

I ordered the DIADORA Ermano and was more than satisfied with it. It's an Italian tight fit and looks and feels very modern. The price is a bit high, but overall, it's well worth it.
