Player: GM (So Cal) OKAY...so this is how it goes. Vapors have been my boot of choice and will continue to be my boots because I know the tricks to wearing them and they are the best cleats I have ever worn. Blisters aren't fun. The way to PREVENT them is to fold a peice of PRE-WRAP TAPE in half and place it over the ball of your heel. After about a month or so the boot will have formed to your foot and the pre-wrap will no longer be necessary. Also, double-socking has always worked for me. For the VAPOR IV's...a 1/2 size down isn't really necessary. But they are a little wider in the front. Hope this helped. GLORY TO MAN UTD |

1 of 5 people found the following review helpful: Great boot, but I need help choosing - Jun 19, 2008
Player: Anonymous (somewhere in California) I love the feel of these boots. The vIIIs I couldnt stand at all. They were the most uncomfortable cleat I've ever worn. These were much much more comfortable. They fit my foot very well and were insanely light. I felt like I could anything with them. Now I have a question.. Would these boots work for me? I play all over the back line, and def. mid, or winger. As a defender I play as an attacking defender. I love to make runs and get involved in the attack. I am also looking at the dark army laserIIs, adipures, F50s, which I find useless because where I live its always firm ground, or predators. I have used copas, legends, great boot, very comfortable and overall great, and am now using laserIs, also a good boot. Which ones should I get? They will be used as game cleats only. Do the studs wear out quickly? And does wearing them in the shower really work? Whats the best way to cut down on blisters? Sorry for all the questions I just really want these! |

Player: andre m i have had these cleats for about 3 months and they are incredible. thy have amazing ball control and gives you a powerful and accurate shot. When you first buy these cleats you may want to wear 2 pairs of socks to solve any blister problems. they are extremely lightweight and are way worth the money. these are the best cleats ever made. |
