Quality Product - Jul 24, 2010
Player: E (Earth)

I was certainly a fan of Skill Factor. The demonstrations of skills from in-game footage of world-class players Ronaldo, Rooney, Henry, Giggs, etc. was exceptional. The skills are all relatively simple to understand but give you additional weapons in your arsenal when well-practiced. By the way, this isn't anything a half-back or 'keeper should invest in as it focuses on attacking techniques at least 90 of the time. I would suggest this video to anyone looking to improve their on-ball ability.

Skill Factor = Practice and Learning - Jan 14, 2010
Parent: RP (Sylvania, OH)

My son loves this kind of thing. It is 90 minutes of showing a move using the 3D computerized technique, and then showing multiple different Premiere League players using the move and WHY they are doing it or what effect it has upon play. Excellent for my 7 year old to see him start to get a better understanding of the choices made on the pitch. He got it at Christmas and has been watching parts of it everyday. He has already shown three new moves in winter practices with his team.

It's Okay - Dec 03, 2009

Although the DVD provided a large number of skills to demonstrate and cool highlights of Premier players, it didn't really break down how to execute the skill. I was not impressed with the computer animations of the skill. It was like watching EA FIFA on the PS2.

Good review of skills - Jul 21, 2009
Parent: Scott Simons (Eugene, Oregon USA)

I have four sons playing soccer, and we all enjoy this video. I play and coach, and this video does a great job of showing skills in action, not just drills. It includes some great Premier League action with recent players like C. Ronaldo, Rooney and also greats from past years like Bergkamp, Shearer doing their best stuff. Good selection of skills in game situations. Sometimes the computer demos aren't in sync with the live action, but still worth the price to enjoy the skills shown in the games.

Very good instructional video - Jan 17, 2009

I ordered this DVD for Christmas for my son. He didn't get to open it until a week or two after and when he did there was no DVD inside the case, even though it was still wrapped. I contact Eurosport and they sent me out another right away and I am very satisfied with the service despite that. As to the DVD, I play and coach a U11 team and my son is on a select team that trains throughout the year. He trains/plays 2x a week 52 weeks per year. He really enjoyed the DVD and got something out of it. He has lent it to some of his teammates and I have heard them discuss some of the skills in the carpool. The breakdown of the moves is done very well in animation and also shows an actual player performing the move. Recommended for younger players although I even picked up a thing or two!

As a soccer coach to a very good U11 soccer team - this one caught my attention. My son now practices differet moves after watching. This a must for any young player who wants to be the next Ronaldo.
