Nice ball - May 23, 2012

I've had this ball about two weeks and played pick-up games with it a couple of times. It has a quality feel but it's a little on the light side.

Was 5 Stars, Now No Sale - Apr 08, 2012
Player: Shane (Southern CA, USA)

I have purchased Brine Championship balls for the last 8-10 years and thought I would buy a new one, since my 3 year old ball is so well-used that the blue striping has nearly faded away. I was considering the "buy 1 and get 1 free" offer and using them both as match day balls, until I read the reviews posted here. While I have never experienced any of these issues with any of my previous Brine equipment, I don't want to buy an inferior ball for $50-$100. Thanks for those postings, fellows. I think I'll try one of those European-style Select Royale balls instead. By the way, with inferior Brine products that you purchased, don't you have recourse with their 3 year warranty? Out-of-roundness is a huge deal, and that sounds like defective product/quality issue covered by the warranty. Maybe you can still exchange it for a better brand name. Cheers!

Pros and cons - May 18, 2011
Player: Will (Albuquerque, NM)

This ball has great touch and it flies. It is very light. However, the stitching is not very tight and it loses air QUICKLY after light to moderate use for two months. Upon inflation for the first time, it is very easy for the ball to go out of round due to the bladder design. Needs to be pumped a few times, kneaded, pumped, kneaded, etc. Overpriced for this reason. Would recommend purchase only if on sale for 50 percent off.

To Pricely - $35 - Jan 31, 2011

We have been using this ball for 3 years now. Compaired to many Nike and Adidas Balls this one does feel on the heavy side. Unfortunalty High School Soccer requires the use of this ball in State/Regional Championship Matches, so we have to use it. I have found this ball for as little as $35, Eurosport has this ball way to pricey.

Not the same as a few years ago - Jan 23, 2011
Coach: Mark F. (Fowler, CA)

I coach high school boys soccer and have two of these for match play only. Was happy for the most part at first: Decent touch, decent power but within the course of several matches, one became lopsided. I take great pains to care for my match balls so they were .never out of my sight and were never exposed to any temperature extremes. Also, their training balls, which we also used, were very low quality and most didn't make it through one season. Disappointed. These were supplied by the school but I believe I will be switching to the Baden balls at my own expense.
