An elegant classic - Jan 14, 2013
Player: Miguel

Great feel and does not need to be broken-in. Fits true to size and genuine kangaroo leather fits like a glove on my feet. This shoe is leather all around, uncluding fols over tongue. Central shoe laces.

Umbro Speciali - Dec 19, 2012
Player: VIS (Ephrata, PA)

The Speciali 92 are a fantastic pair of old school looking shoes. Very nice fit, and very comfortable. The sole plate is very similar to the Nike legend iii, Very good quality leather. I wish the upper was made of kangaroo leather instead of full-grain. I can't wait to wear them next spring.

Classic UMBRO - Aug 04, 2012
Player: Joe W. (Omaha, NE)

I was skeptical about buying these at first for a few reasons: 1. After the x-boot III's went away, I didn't think Umbro had it in them to make quality boots, 2. They seemed pricy for just how they looked and for the boots Umbro puts out these days, and 3. I've never worn "Hard Ground" shoes and wasn't sure if there was any difference between them and the traditional "Firm Ground" shoes most people wear. When I first put them on, they were a bit snug but soon felt fine after a little bit of kicking and such. The hard ground aspect isn't really different at all for those who are uninformed like myself. The touch on them is just fine. One reason I bought these because of the classic look. Next to the Copa Mundials, this is best boot for a vintage style that most people won't miss. You're probably wondering why I gave them 3.5 stars though... The reasons for that are the material, it may look like a decent outer but it feels like synthetic leather and quite frankly, looks a tad bit like something you'd find on a shoe from Sport's Authority, although I will mentioned that just after an hour of playing, they started to feel more like leather. The price, $150 for these isn't justifiable at the moment, if the entire upper was kangaroo leather, it would make sense but I'm assuming for the 20th anniversary and what not, they were always going to be inflated in the way of price. So, all in all, I'm not entirely sure at about 60 sure right now whether these were worth the buy, I need to get more than just one use out of them, if you're looking for a true classic and nostalgic look, these are for you, and if you can, I would look for them in a store to try on before you buy them, or wait till the price goes down. If not for my problems with the material should be all kang leather for the price and the price should be no more than $110 for the current state of it, I wouldve easily given it 5 stars. On a lighter note, they come with a cool sinch bag for them!!
