Comfort - Nov 23, 2012
Player: DirtyDog (Naples, FL)
This is a very comfortable
shoe.
Pro: This shoe runs a bit wide
which suits me since I have a
wide foot. I wear a 10.5 and a
10.5 seemed even a bit wide
for me, but once the lases
were adjusted it became more
comfortable. I am replacing a
pair of 2007 Legends, and from
the moment that I put these on
they were just as comfortable
as my old broken in legends.
Virtually to break in time
required. No blisters either.
Con: The price is a factor
here. At $70 this is a shoe
that is less than 50 leather.
The front of the foot is
leather, the back is
synthetic. This fact became
clear after I finished my
first game. At a glance you
can not tell the difference by
looking at the shoe, but when
the leather portion gets wet
it changes to a different
shade of blue, and it looks
like the shoe is two different
colors. Very disappointing.
My second disappointment came
when after the first use the
upper showed signs of what
will ultimately be the demise
of this shoe, as the upper has
began to separate from the
sole after 1 very light use.
Final thoughts: While the shoe
is flashy and comfortable, I
wish I had gone with a pair of
Jome Fit for a price of under
$70, which have more leather.
The Fit also has another
feature that adds durability
as the sole goes up a bit
higher and makes a nice
platform for the leather to
rest on and gives it more
durability.
