Fantastic Boot - Aug 29, 2013
Player: Jeff (Kalamazoo)

You can' t usually get a leather boot this light, so I was skeptical when ordering. I was wrong! This is almost my favorite boot in about 20 years of playing. Straight out of the box, I first noticed the weight. So light! Not as light as my previous synthetic Adizeros didn't like these...weird upper material and studs broke, but they make up for that in other waysÖ. My next reaction was to the leather. Itís not kangaroo, but it is surprisingly soft and thin. They werenít cheap with it either, the entire upper is made of this stuff for a nice uniform feel on the ball. The three stripes on each side are also well placed for just a little extra grip where you need it. After staring at how nice they look, I actually put them on. Sooooooo comfortable! They have a soft cloth lining that hugs your foot but is still thin which I appreciate. Break in time seemed nonexistent. No blisters, but I have to admit that I donít blister much anyway. Overall, fantastic boot. Only reason I didnít give 5 out of 5 is because of fit. Length is perfect, but the top of the shoe is a little too narrow. FYI, I wear a 7.5 in Nike but needed a 7 in these. Other Adizeros I had were a 7.5 and were very roomy around my toes.

F50 - May 21, 2013
Parent: Kendal (Hamilton, MT)

My son has been playing in F50's for the past two years and loves them, however the seams on these shoes have broken loose from sole to half way up the shoe, on the out side on one and the instep on the other. This is after about two months of wear. The quality of the craftsmanship is definitely in question.

Good boot, not an improvement - Mar 08, 2013
Player: Sam (Tulsa, OK)

I have owned each generation of the adizero line, and after the soles of my last ones finally gave out, I ordered these, expecting the same boot with some minor tweaks. However, adidas has made some questionable changes to this model, and I'm not sure why. The leather is not nearly as soft out of the box - perhaps for increased durability - and the stripes on the outside and instep of the boot are plastic and serve NO function. I much prefer the older model in which the toe box is entirely leather, where I had a much better feel of the ball and a clean striking surface. With these, they added the dumb stripes to make the boot look flashier, but all they really achieved was a poorer touch on the ball. Also, the toe box and the boot in general are both wider than the previous model, which doesn't help the boot conform to my foot. Overall, I like the old model better, and I think that anyone more concerned with function than fashion would agree.

These boots have a great feel and touch. The leather is high quality and I highly recommend them to anybody.
