Unable to try - Apr 21, 2013

I gave these shoes a 5 simply on looks and the feel when i tried them on. Unfortunately, I had to return These shoes before trying. I have a wide foot and only wear adidas shoes. For most of my purchases, I have had no problem. Have a pair of adizero turf shoes and a pair of firm ground predators and both are size 8.5 . I had to return the 8.5 size for these and then tried a 9 and still was not able to wear the shoe. I am looking for another shoe. I wanted to try the artificial grass shoe. too bad!

Great Value ! - Jan 30, 2013
Player: jesse (Santa Cruz, CA USA)

I've had a chance to play now about 12-15 scrimmages in these boots and I'm quite happy with their very comfortable, high performance. I got them because I was looking to try some of the newer designs of artificial grass cleats now hitting the market, and since I only play on AG anymore. I love the low profile of the Traxion AG cleats and like the increased traction they give you over rubber cleats....the difference being that the hardstyle cleat actually"digs" into the grass material versus the rubber style - not as much. I wonder if this shoe would also still work on low cut grass fields and afford a player a wider use shoe. The leather is extremely soft and breaks in from the first kick. The shoe advertises a suede liner, its actually a syn-suede liner on the back of the tongue....but once you lace the shoe up properly, it feels exactly as advertised...very plush. This model and the Pro, actually has functional reinforcement through the stripes on the sides of the boots...whereas on the cheaper models the 3-stripe design is purely decorative. For the money, I don't think there's any other boot on the market that would out-point this nice piece of equipment...feature for feature.and performance.
