Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a six-year contract for Ronaldo that is worth £40m after tax.
According to the Spanish newspaper DiarioSport, who publish a similar rumor every single day, Real president Ramon Calderon is prepared to make Ronaldo the highest-paid player in the world.
And that money would be on top of the £60m or so that it would take to prize Ronaldo away from Old Trafford.
Ronaldo’s mother thinks he should hotfoot it to Madrid and so does Real defender Pepe, who says: “Sincerely, it would be very important for his future if he can join a club like Real Madrid. For me, personally, I would like if he was with us.
“Of course, I’d tell him to join me here. In addition, if he wants to be the best player in the world he must play for an organization like Madrid.”
