AC Milan’s Mario Balotelli is known for taking things to the next level. In yesterday’s home match against AS Roma, Balotelli wore a customized pair of cleats covered in headlines (the good, the bad and the ugly) that he has inspired over the course of his career. The headlines included “Super Mario”, “Why Always Me?” and “Bye Bye Germania”.
It’s a little difficult to determine the brand that made these cleats. Balotelli has been seen in a blacked-out version of Nike’s CTR 360 lately. Judging by the asymmetrical lacing, maybe these are well-disguised CTR 360’s?

Now, Balotelli will be making headlines for wearing cleats that are covered with headlines that he’s already made. Whew. That’s a lot for a Tuesday morning. What do you think of Balotelli’s latest on-field fashion statement?
