First seen on PUMA’s latest signing Mario Balotelli, this is the second eye-catching iteration of PUMA’s new evoPower cleat.
The AC Milan and Italian National Team striker first wore his PUMA evoPOWER Stampa (Stampa is “print” in Italian and this limited edition version of the evoPower is covered in newspaper headlines about the controversial player) on December 22, 2013 at San Siro.
Just three days into the new year, PUMA has launched this eye-catching camo version of the evoPower. This cool cleat is covered in a striking camo print made up of PUMA logos. Balotelli wore this camo version of the evoPOWER on January 6 when Milan faced Atalanta.
Cesc Fabregas scored two goals Wednesday with the PUMA evoPOWER while representing Barcelona in Copa Del Rey play against Getafe.
The Spanish midfield maestro opening the scoring in the 4-0 first leg triumph with a 9th minute pinpoint header before doubling the advantage with a thunderous penalty kick in the 63rd. Fabregas’ precise through ball to played in Pedro, who was taken out to earn the penalty.
Wedensday’s was the second match in which Fabregas has worn the evoPOWER, and he says he’s happy to be one of the flag bearers, alongside Balotelli and Marco Reus, for the CAMO.
“It is always an exciting moment when PUMA present a new boot to me, but this one is especially cool,” he says. “I have tested it for awhile now and I am thrilled to move into this design.”
