Fiorentina strike star Luca Toni feels the club would have cancelled out their Italian wiretap scandal penalty faster if fortune had smiled on them a little more.
La Viola are 18th on five points, but would be fourth were it not for the 15-point deduction from the start of the season.
“This year we’re less lucky than last year,” shrugged Toni. “However, we’re still having a great league season and I don’t see a Fiorentina side in trouble.”
“Unfortunately, there’s penalization which we have to recover and we are doing our utmost to climb up.”
